UNITED WORKING ON DOUBLE MADRID TRANSFERS

Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly looking to land two top soccer stars from Spain this summer.

Coach Jose Mourinho wants two of the best legs in football to join his team from Real Madrid – a side he coached few years ago.

There are reports that Mourinho is forging ahead with the plan to land Welsh superstar Gareth Bale and Columbian skipper James Rodriguez. Reports in Spain claim Bale has sensationally agreed to return to England if United can qualify for Champions League football.

Bale has struggled this season in Madrid and next season might not be so different. His move to Spain was celebrated with so much fanfare as it broke world record. He was touted to replace Cristiano Ronaldo when he retires but he has lived in the shadow of the Portuguese superstar since his arrival.

Numerous sources say the management in Santiago Bernabeu in frustrated with the fitness concerns of Bale. Some claim the club would give him a year for further monitoring before they decide what they would do. However a few reported that Bale has now agreed to join United if they make the cut for the top flight European club competition next year.

United’s hope of making the top four took a big blow with the recent 2-0 loss to Arsenal but the team has a decent chance of lifting the Europa League title which would guarantee them a spot in the Champions League next term. They have defeated Celta Vigo away in the first leg and they are set to complete the rout this week to book a space against Ajax in Stockholm – after the Dutch side defeated Lyon 4-1 in the first leg.

Bale has scored nine times this season in 24 starts but the summer would tell if he would leave Spain.
