PANAMA BOSS BACKS SPAIN

The Panama national football team manager Julio Dely Valdes has said that he needs the presence of two teams at one time in order to get past the European and world champions when they take on each other in a friendly match on Wednesday night. Spain will be playing against minnows Panama in a friendly match.

Many have been questioning the necessity of this friendly match, which is mainly being conducted for the financial benefit of the football Federations of both nations. Panama are currently 45th in the FIFA world rankings, which makes them highly unlikely to get a victory against Spain.
Spain come into this match as the World and European champions, but they were recently held to a draw by France in the World Cup qualifying match.

However, this match is going to be extremely difficult by any stretch of an imagination according to the Panama manager. Valdes has said that they may need the luck to go in favour of his team in order to win this match. The Spanish national team manager Vicente del Bosque has taken the decision to rest a number of high profile players like the Barcelona midfielder Xavi and the Chelsea striker Fernando Torres for this match.

"The best thing to take on Spain would be to allow us to play with 22 players inside of 11. Against Spain it is absurd to think of it as just another day and just another team. You can't approach them head on. Everything we try to do in games will have to be doubled. Twice the attention, the concentration, the effort, helping each other out and so on," said the Panama manager Valdes ahead of this match. The Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata said ahead of the match that he cannot wait to face the opposition manager.
